I hope this message finds you all well and ready to go on another ‘Run’.
Attached is the latest edition of The Octagon, which I have had a lot of fun putting together. I do owe a debt of gratitude to those that have contributed, and the variety of articles I have received! As I have mentioned before, if you have anything that you would like to contribute to the magazine, please send it along to me. I appreciate hearing from you all.
I have changed, as I seem to be want to do, the placement of some newsy items. The Bits and Pieces page now has the special Notices too.. So please look at these. Also, I have reordered the Road Ahead again, and have placed the little bit about an MG Ralley which takes place in Europe on the last page. Due to the amount of material this month, I had to massage the Octagon a bit. No complaints – keep em coming.
We look forward to seeing you all out and about, and if you are able to make the Father’s Day Run on the 21st, you will not be disappointed. Hamish definitely has something special to show everyone. Drop Derrick an email if you are able to make it, as the Roost would like to know how many cars/people are going to be there. We are all very much into distancing, etc. Bring a mask – there is a prize for the best one!! The event is being held outdoors – which is fantastic.
