We had a great event at Western Speedway (June 22)We had 38 drivers and a lot of great cars show up it was a great day and thanks to all who showed up and a BIG Thank You to the club members who organized it.

If you were unable to go, there is another track day coming up  (keep a lookout on the club’s web page and incoming emails, it’s well worth doing and a lot of FUN for sure, and a chance to sharpen your driving skills.

For the next club monthly meeting at the Salvation Army on Douglas on JULY 8th. we are going to do something different.

We will, instead of having a meeting in a room, we will meet at 7 PM at the Salvation Army Parking lot 4030 Douglas Street and at 7:15 depart for a short car run ending up at Beacon Drive-in “ Long-running, old-school diner known for its burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs & ice cream”.

The run is being planned by Sue Fraser. Rain or shine, inside or out! Bring money for ice cream or what ever you would like, bring your Brit. car or your current car. Promises to be good company, good cars, good conversations, great ice cream, and if we are lucky good weather.

So… Midsummer, cars, MG club members, early evening, great short interesting run, should be perfect!  Let’s do it!!

See you there,

Malcom
