I would like to thank all the members that have supported me throughout the year. The year has been a good one for weather and driving our cars. Hopefully the same can be said for the coming year.
I would like to thank Eleanor for her work as secretary over the last couple of years. She will be missed.
The year has been a challenging one for motorsports. We have been hit with low attendance and weather. We are planning to adjust the schedule this coming year and break the events even.
The motoring events have been good, and we will continue with the same number and a little more varied.
We had a very successful trip into the interior with our cars and a fun time was had by everyone. Let’s hope we can do that again this year. There was also a group that went up island to Quadra Island and had a great time.
Ross Bregman will join us this year and help Derrick with the events and start to set up some tech events. I do believe we can do some tech nights and then go for coffee or ice cream.
On a sad note Roger Barrie passed away and our condolences to Valerie.
Our communications are sparse, so I will look into bringing that up to date.
