The Dashboard is published on the third Monday of each month and reports on the happenings you may have missed at the club meeting the previous Monday.
President’s Message
Well as I sit here looking out the window I can only think of driving my car in the future. The rain and cold temperatures make driving our LBC’s less than perfect.
Saying that we must press on and think about the future.
I was in The Okanagan on Easter weekend and went on a wine drive/tour in the south and made a stop at the new track, Area 27.
The track is closed when in use for members but there is a viewing area on a side hill. We watched cars for a while and I must say that it is a real track. The surface is wide, and it is a long course. I have been a flagger at Mont Tremblant and Mossport and this is a real race track. After talking to security, I was able to have a short meeting with the manager of the track and she said that they would be able to have the club come for a visit.
Thought that might be a good thing to do on our trip to Radium.
Speaking of Radium in June I would like to have a meeting in the coming weeks of the people who are coming to plan the route and times. Please let me know if you are interested.
The other event that is on the horizon is the Restoration Fair on Sunday, May 6. Our events chair was thinking of having a run out to the event starting a Gateway Village and run up to the Fair. Please let Derrick Sparks (events@victoriamgclub.ca) know.
Please keep dry and safe.
